Repair by Brand: Codes and Warranty Terms
A brand page is the better starting point when the display shows a code or the appliance might still be under warranty. In-warranty repairs normally go through the manufacturer's own service, so check that first.
- Samsung repair
- 1 year parts and labor as standard, plus longer parts coverage on its digital inverter compressors and washer and dryer motors.
- LG repair
- Refrigerator sealed systems carry 5 years of parts and labor; washer drum motors carry 10 years, parts only.
- Whirlpool repair
- Typically one year from delivery. Some refrigerators add sealed-system parts coverage in years 2 through 5.
- GE Appliances repair
- A 1-year limited warranty. GE Appliances has been owned by Haier since June 2016.
- Maytag repair
- Parts and labor in year one, then a 10-year limited parts warranty on key parts for appliances made after 2017.
- Frigidaire repair
- Its own repair booking lists trip and diagnosis starting at $150 and fixed-price repair starting at $190.
